Building safer organisations where people can speak, contribute and thrive.
Independent safeguarding consultancy for international organisations, NGOs, foundations and mission-driven organisations — from prevention and reporting systems to sensitive case reviews, investigations and organisational learning.
Safeguarding as a living organisational system.
Safeguarding should not only help an organisation react when harm occurs. It should create clear and sustainable conditions in which people understand their responsibilities, know where to raise concerns and can contribute without their energy being absorbed by insecurity, silence or organisational survival mechanisms.
Systems reviews & gap assessments
Review policies, reporting channels, governance, roles, case pathways and organisational risk points. Translate findings into prioritised, workable recommendations.
Reporting & case-management mechanisms
Design or strengthen complaints, reporting, triage, escalation, confidentiality, documentation and decision-making frameworks.
Safeguarding & workplace investigations
Independent fact-finding under a clearly defined mandate, with attention to procedural fairness, role separation and the limits of competence.
Training & organisational learning
Scenario-based learning for leaders, focal points and teams: receiving concerns, power and responsibility, decision-making and moving from policy to practice.
From reactive compliance to credible organisational capacity.
My work focuses on the point where safeguarding, reporting, power, institutional responsibility and organisational culture meet. The aim is not to add procedures for their own sake, but to build frameworks that people can understand, trust and use — and that help organisations respond proportionately when something goes wrong.
