Nadège Porta

A legal, human and systemic approach.

For more than fifteen years, one question has run through my work: how is power exercised, shared and regulated within our organisations and relationships?

After studying law, my career took me to Latin America, first as a political analyst in Peru working on drug trafficking issues, then to Colombia with the United Nations. I later worked with humanitarian and international organisations, including Terre des hommes, the ICRC and the Global Fund, on protection, ethics, abuse and exploitation, reporting and institutional responsibility.

Across very different contexts, I encountered remarkably similar dynamics: power relations, protective mechanisms, things left unsaid, loyalties and organisational cultures profoundly influence our ability to speak, listen and act.

This experience shaped how I support people and organisations. I do not decide for others, and I do not believe in ready-made solutions. I seek to restore clarity where things have become confused, identify room for action and obstacles, and create conditions in which each person can regain their judgement and agency.

I also believe in organisations able to respond rather than react: organisations that can step back when a situation becomes sensitive, question their own practices and draw on collective intelligence rather than look for one person to carry the problem or its solution alone.

My ambition is to help them build healthy, clear and lasting relational and institutional foundations: frameworks in which each person can find their place, exercise responsibility and contribute without collective energy being continually absorbed by insecurity or survival mechanisms. With these foundations, an organisation can look further ahead, cooperate more and devote its strengths to shaping tomorrow.

The PORTA CONFIANCE approach

I created PORTA CONFIANCE to offer this space from an independent position: a place to step back, look differently at what seemed self-evident and open new possibilities.

For me, trust is not naivety. It is a proactive decision that calls for judgement, and needs clarity, safety, responsibility and checks on power to last.

PORTA CONFIANCE is my name, but also a door, a passage, an opening. An invitation to create clarity where it is missing, regain agency where it seemed lost and, when possible, open a path towards something different.

A warm welcome, freedom to choose

We take time to understand your needs and explain the framework. Tools and arrangements are proposed according to the situation and with your agreement. Meetings can take place in a comfortable setting, remotely or, where appropriate, in person.

A role defined from the outset

If I have supported someone as a person of trust, I do not then act as mediator, investigator or adviser to the employer in the same matter. Where another intervention is needed, I help identify an appropriate referral. This separation helps protect trust and the impartiality of the process.

Let us discuss your needs

A few lines are enough to arrange an initial conversation. Arrangements, scope and fees are clarified before the service begins.
